Dr Carl Luckhoff
Dr Carl Luckhoff is the Deputy Director at Alfred Health Emergency & Adjunct Senior Lecturer with Monash University. Following his initial training in South Africa, Carl worked in the UK and other overseas remote locations before starting his emergency specialist training in Australia. He has since completed his Global Executive MBA from Monash Business School.

Professor John Thwaites
Professor John Thwaites AM is a Professorial Fellow at Monash University and Chair of the Monash Sustainable Development Institute, Climateworks Centre, Melbourne Water, and the National Sustainable Development Council. He co-chairs the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Leadership Council and chairs the SDSN Association globally. A former Victorian Deputy Premier, John has held national leadership roles in sustainability and planning, and was named one of the 100 Global Sustainability Leaders by ABC Carbon Express. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2021 for his service to the environment and public life.

Professor Nick Watts
Professor Nick Watts is Director of the Centre for Sustainable Medicine at the University of Singapore, leading efforts to advance sustainable healthcare locally and globally. Previously, as Chief Sustainability Officer for the NHS (UK), he drove the push to become the world’s first net zero health system, securing over $1 billion in funding and embedding sustainability into national healthcare legislation.

Professor Eugenie Kayak
Professor Kayak is a consultant anaesthetist at Austin and Alfred Health and a long-time leader in sustainable healthcare. She is Convenor of Doctors for the Environment Australia’s (DEA) Sustainable Healthcare Special Interest Group and a former DEA Board member and co-chair. Professor Kayak has worked with the AMA and DEA to advocate for net zero healthcare emissions by 2040 and engage Australia’s medical colleges in sustainability. She has contributed to key reports and publications, including DEA’s Net Zero Emissions report, the Proposal for a National Sustainable Healthcare Unit, and ANZCA’s Statement on Environmental Sustainability.
